Better Than Cake Ann Hartman
Real name is Better than Sex Cake but as we say in FL; it depends on who you are having sex with!
1 box Devil's Food cake mix
1 jar caramel ice-cream topping
1 can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 container Cool-Whip (as much or as little as you like)
Heath Bars, crushed

I usually make this in a disposable cake pan with a lid. ItÕs always a hit at potluck suppers & other gatherings and itÕs so easy to make!
Make cake according to package directions. After cake has cooled, poke holes in the top of the cake. (I use a kabob skewer to do this.)
Pour condensed milk and caramel sauce over top of cake. After the liquid has absorbed a bit, cover top of cake with Cool-Whip. Sprinkle crushed Heath bars on top.
(I find the best way to crush the candy bars is to put them in the freezer while you are preparing the cake. When ready for candy bars, put them in a big baggie & beat the crap out of them!) Chill. Cake is VERY moist!
Wedding Cake Ann Hartman
I don"t know what the real name is so....this was our wedding cake (made by moi) so that's what we call it.

1 can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 container Cool-Whip (as much or as little as you like)
Shredded Coconut (as much or as little as you like)
Sliced strawberries

Well, it was three layers and HART-shaped and I remember it looking alot better than this photo shows. As I recall no one came to our wedding from Ohio or New Jersey either. Gary said it was because he had just gotten married the year before. I DID too!
Good thing we had realized that we married the wrong people and gotten together to make things right.   -Ann
