The Gills are home !

Mmmmmmmm.........

Mmmmmmmm.........

Thanks to modern technology (Facebook) we have located our long lost family!! This is very exciting to be finally be with them again. They all have grown children like us and have many stories to tell. I am a little embarrassed that there are so FEW photos of them on this website.. especially their father Fredrick “Brother” Gill who was nothing short of our “father” after dad died.
So now is the time to flood the web site with the GILLS. I have missed my best childhood buddy cousin James Gill very much. I have his phone number but am a little afraid to use it. It has been a long 15 or so years.

Hello everyone. Glad we are together again. Have thought of you all often. It has been way to long. Many hugs and kisses to you all.

    Yes we are!
No one should be afraid to call anyone – we are family, aren’t we?
Miss all of you and it’s so sad to hear of Aunt Joan, Aunt Carol, Beverly and maybe the biggest shock, Brenda’s passing.
I’m hopeful they are all up hugging Dad (Brother) for me – it seems like yesterday.

Bern—my sweet sweet sister. I was out in Westfield tonight. Such an awesome downtown. Had the most delicious linguine and baby clams with garlic, in the dark corner of “Theresa’s”. Dad would just flip over in his grave if he ever saw what HIS Westfield has become. The trendiest little American town with great shopping, outdoor Cafe’s and Jazz night. The sky was orange, the breeze was gentle and this girl that I walked with made me laugh, think and yearn. Artists are passionate, deep and damn good kissers.

Take tons of pix of our cousins. YOU were the determined one to find them. I don’t know why you were so obsessed, but now I am grateful.
Sorry I didn’t answer your texts tonight. Dads store is empty again. Every business has failed miserably except his. Westfield is just filled with so many memories. My second childhood relived.

Hello everyone. It was so good seeing Bern and Bonnie. The stories we told and heard in 2 1/2 hours. It was almost like the old times except we are older. I had so much fun catching up. I have thought of you all often. Hope we all can get together for a family reunion one day. Lots of hugs and kisses to you all.

A family reunion would be nice. We tried a few times to get the Hartman clan together, everyone says YES…………but when the time comes nobody wants to. The only time we ALL are going to get together is death. Its still good to see “who’s left” then. I still think we ALL should meet in TN. who knows…maybe one day.
